NEW NORMAL TRAVEL TERMS & CONDITIONS

EXISTING AND NEW BOOKINGS WELCOME!

MEX has resumed limited operation but new bookings are always welcome.

Existing Bookings:

  1. Confirmed bookings for which we have received a deposit or full payment, is secured if you or your clients cannot travel due to COVID-19.
  2. Bookings can be amended up to 12 months from the original arrival date. Please note that only two amendments to travel dates may be made and if the travel date changes to a higher rate season, customer will top up for price difference.
  3. In the event that you or your clients, do not travel within 12 months of the original arrival date, the deposit paid would be forfeited.
  4. Any travel changes to bookings within 14 days of the travel period will incur 100% cancellation fees.

New Bookings:

  1. Any bookings made from 1 September 2020 and onwards will be subject to the following special conditions.
  2. Only 10% deposit will be required at the time of booking.
  3. 8 weeks prior to arrival, another 40% deposit will be required to confirm the reservation.
  4. The final 50% payment will be required to pay 4 weeks prior to arrival.
  5. If a booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of arrival a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
  6. All new bookings from above mentioned date can enjoy 1 free tour date or tour package change, up to 45 days before your trip is due to start.

Refund Policy:

  1. We are unable to offer any refunds at this time unless mentioned in exception clause.
  2. We trust that our partners and guests understand our situation; we are doing all we can to work with our guests and partners to find mutually agreeable solutions.

Exceptions to Refund Policy:

We will have the following exceptions where bookings are cancelled within 14 days of travel, whereby partial refund for clients will be

  1. If the country of the clients’ residence prevents the client from leaving.
  2. If Myanmar government issues an inbound travel ban

Insurance Policy:

  • All travelers must purchase international travel insurance that has Covid-19 coverage in Myanmar.

General Regulations

  • All travelers must comply to new safe travel requirement of Myanmar government and is subject to strict compliance.
