Entry/Exit : Yangon/Yangon

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Yangon & Yangon Sightseeing (-/-/-)

• On arrival to Yangon Airport, meet and greet by Local Guide.
• Visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (65 meter long Reclining Buddha Image) and the centre of Yangon: Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park and City Hall.
• Shop at Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) which is the major covered bazaar with hundreds of souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, Jewellery shops.
• Proceed to Botahtaung Pagoda which was named after the thousand military leaders who escorted first hair relics of the Buddha brought from India over two thousand years ago and then visit to Nanthida Jetty where you can watch the busy life on the Yangon River and beautiful sunset.
• Continue to visit Shwedagon Pagoda (World famous 2500 years old) in the evening.
• Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Bagan by flight & Bagan Sightseeing  (B/-/-)

• Transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. From the 9th to 13th Centuries, the city was the capital of the Kingdom of Bagan. During the kingdom's prosperity between the 11th and 13th Centuries, over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in Bagan plains alone, of which the remains of over 2200 temples and pagodas still survive to the present day.
• Visit the renowned temples in Bagan and Nyaung-U including Ananda Temple, Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest of all temples in Bagan; and as well as other famous pagodas such as Manuha, Shwezigon, and Gubyaukgyi Pagoda and lacquer ware workshop.
• Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3: Bagan – Mandalay by Highway Express & Mandalay Sightseeing (B/-/-)

• After breakfast at hotel, depart to Mandalay by Highway Express (176km/3hour 30minute drive).
• On arrival to Mandalay, visit Mahamuni pagoda, Mandalay Palace (the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy constructed between 1857 and 1859 as part of King Mindon's founding of the new royal capital city of Mandalay), Shwenandaw Monastery (historic Buddhist monastery) and Kuthodaw Pagoda (World’s largest book inscribed marble slabs).
• Continue to Mandalay Hill to see beautiful sunset and overview of ancient capital of Myanmar.
• Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 4: Amarapura Sightseeing & Mandalay – Yangon by flight (B/-/-)

• After Breakfast at Hotel, drive to Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon Monastery where more than 1000 monks are studying and the 200-year-old U Bein Teak Bridge.
• Then, transfer to Mandalay airport for Yangon.
• On arrival to Yangon, transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 5: Departure from Yangon (B/-/-)

• After Breakfast at Hotel, enjoy own leisure time before transfer to airport for sweet home.
