Entry/Exit : Yangon/Yangon
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival Yangon & Yangon Sightseeing (-/-/-)
- On arrival to Yangon Airport, meet and greet by Local Guide.
- Visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (65 meter long Reclining Buddha Image) and the centre of Yangon: Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park and City Hall.
- Shop at Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) which is the major covered bazaar with hundreds of souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, Jewellery shops.
- Proceed to Botahtaung Pagoda which was named after the thousand military leaders who escorted first hair relics of the Buddha brought from India over two thousand years ago and then visit to Nanthida Jetty where you can watch the busy life on the Yangon River and beautiful sunset.
- Continue to visit Shwedagon Pagoda (World famous 2500 years old) in the evening.
- Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Mandalay by Flight & Amarapura – Mandalay sightseeing (B/-/-)
- Transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival to Mandalay Airport, meet and greet by Local guide.
- Sightseeing starts with Mahagandayon Monastery where more than 1000 monks are studying and the 200 year old U Bein Teak Bridge.
- Then, proceed to Kuthodaw Pagoda (World’s largest book inscribed marble slabs).
- In Evening, go up to Mandalay Hill to see beautiful sunset and overview of ancient capital of Myanmar.
- Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 3: Mandalay & Innwa sightseeing (B/-/-)
- After Breakfast at Hotel, visit Mandalay Palace (the last royal palace of the last Burmese monarchy constructed between 1857 and 1859 as part of King Mindon's founding of the new royal capital city of Mandalay), Shwenandaw Monastery (historic Buddhist monastery) and Mahamuni Pagoda (the most famous Pagoda in Mandalay).
- Drive to Innwa (Ava) and visit ruins of Innwa Palace, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery and Bagaya Kyaung.
- Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay to Heho by flight & Inle lake Sightseeing (B/-/-)
- Transfer to airport and fly to Heho Airport. Drive to Inle Lake through the scenery road. Along the way, visit Shwe Yan Pyay monastery. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar, is well known for its floating gardens and dwellers, called Intha, who practice unique upright one leg-rowing style.
- Your excursion in Inle Lake (by boat) is visiting to the following places like Nga Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat) monastery, Silver smith factory, Cheroot making factory, Boat making carpentry workshop, Silk weaving factory
- Inle Heritage to see the Burmese cats and
- the most famous Paungdaw Oo Pagoda. The five small Buddha images of the Pagoda are all covered with gold leaf so thick that their original forms can no longer be seen. Enroute, you may see unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty, fishing canoes using special methods for fishing and collecting seaweed, lakebed mud etc to make floating gardens.
- Overnight in Inle Lake/ Nyaung Shwe.
Day 5: Inle – Yangon by flight, Yangon sightseeing & Departure (B/-/-)
- Transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Depend on your international flight time, visit Marble Sitting Buddha, White Elephant Camp and Maha Pasana Cave built near Kabaraye Pagoda (man-made cave hosted 6th Buddhist Council).
- Transfer to Yangon international airport for flight to Sweet Home.
